DeeDee Draz is an accomplished artist with a rich and varied journey. Growing up in La Crosse, Wisconsin, DeeDee pursued her passion for art by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, Painting, and Fine Art from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 1992.

Her professional career includes working for industry giants like Walt Disney Imagineering and Universal Studios, where she specialized in painting beloved Disney characters and animatronic figures, accessorizing intricate costumes, and painting show sets, murals, and props for theme parks worldwide. In 2017, DeeDee assumed the role of Production Art Director for Universal Studios Theme Parks in China, where she played a key role in finalizing the aesthetics of Jurassic World Land in Beijing.

DeeDee's portfolio includes illustrating children's books, commissioned paintings, gallery exhibitions, solo shows in airports, restaurants and other public spaces with a unique style of bohemian free-spirited artwork in both acrylic painting and watercolors with pen and ink. Now based in Orlando, Florida, she continues to create art that captures the essence of both the seen and the unseen in the natural world, always experimenting with new textures, colors, and mediums to evolve her practice.

DeeDee has shown her talent world wide in Walt Disney and Universal Studio theme parks. She has been published and shown in many galleries and public places.
